Karha is the Hindi name given to the traditional blend of spices in chai. Each household, restaurant and Chai Wallah’s recipe for Karha is unique, and most locals will claim their version as both the original and the best. Our blend is a closely guarded secret that we procured on loan from a West Bengali family.
We recommend pairing it with early starts on those cold mornings when you just can’t get moving.
To create our rejuvenating, caffeine-free alternative, we have combined a traditional Karha with Liquorice root, which lifts the spices to a higher level and leaves a wonderfully delicious and languid aftertaste.
